The Georgia Department of Agriculture is auctioning off 38 horses that were impounded for poor condition. The horses have been nursed back to good health.
If you're interested, you can head over to the Georgia Department of Agriculture Jasper County Impound Facility in Mansfield Saturday, Sept. 20, to place your bid. I looked it up and Mansfield is about 2.5 hours from Columbus.
The auction is at 11 a.m. You can inspect the horses that day between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.
