Iraqi dog rescued, brought to the U.S.

This is the sweetest story ever.

Ratchet, an Iraqi dog adopted by a U.S. soldier overseas, was reunited with her owner in Minneapolis last week.

The military had confiscated the dog from soldier Gwen Beberg as she was heading home to the U.S. Oct. 1.

After the story garnered international attention through the internet (even the attention of Minnesota Congress members,) the military finally agreed to let Ratchet come to the U.S.
