More than 60 vets in Georgia plan to donate 10 percent of their gross receipts May 5 (next Tuesday) for service animals owned by disabled folks and pet owners with financial hardships.

Not sure if any Columbus area vets are doing this, but it would be worth asking them. If local vets want to participate, they can contact the Georgia Veterinary Medical Association office at 678-309-9800.
